Stretching a mile below the rugged cliffs on the Presidio’s western shoreline, Baker Beach’s spectacular outside-the-Gate views of the Bridge and the Marin Headlands are unsurpassed. Located in the city centre, Union Square is the most well-known commercial area in San Francisco. The square has the name "union" because it was the chosen location for the demonstrations of support for the Union Army during the Civil War.
San Francisco's Chinatown is one of the oldest and most established Chinatowns in the U.S. Beyond iconic Dragon’s Gate, a bustling maze of streets and alleys brims with dim sum joints and other traditional eateries.
